final
HC Davos
0:5 (0:1, 0:1, 0:3)
Frölunda Gothenburg
Tuesday 12.01.2016, 20:15 • Vaillant Arena • Champions League

The Swedes eventually ran away with this one here, proving to be stronger on the night, and very efficient with their shooting.

Davos will of course travel to Frolunda next week and give their all, but you have to feel that it is a near on impossible task to come back from 5 down. Yes they were missing some key players, and have had a very tough schedule of late, but tonight they just couldn't get it done.

Thanks for following, and enjoy the rest of this years Champions Hockey League. (22:46:05)

But as always, the fans show massive respect and appreciation of their players, and will chant through the final minute.

    58:00
We're into the final two minutes, and Frolunda Indians from Gothenburg have gone a long way towards reaching this years Champions League final.

    55:00
Time is running out here for the hosts, as we're into the last 5 minutes.

    53:07
An odd one there, as the speculative dump in bounces towards Genoni, who manages to deflect it up over his head and up onto the top of the net, close call, but would've been so harsh.

    50:19
Once again Frolunda take a penalty almost immediately!

    50:08
    Penalty to Frolunda.

    Falth 2 minutes for holding.

    49:58

4 on 4 now for two minutes, who will this benefit?

    46:21
Just under 14 minutes remain in this one, and HCD have to strike now if they want to get back in the tie. Frolunda and their fanatical fans will be a tough enough proposition, let alone trailing by 3.

    Penalties coming up here.

Joel Lundqvist and Ryan Lasch have been credited with the assists for the first Frolunda goal.

    43:20
Penalty over, great work by Corvi down low killed off vital seconds.
